Angela Mirani

Role: Reader Member CRC Executive
I was born and brought up in Mitcham while it was still Surrey, then studied in Bath to be a secondary school music teacher. A few years after qualifying I moved to Italy to teach English as a foreign language, and 40 years later am still there though for 30 of those years I have been teaching religion in the English speaking section of the European school in Varese. In addition I give individual tuition on the trumpet to youngsters of various nationalities.
My husband is Italian and we have a son and a daughter who, after university and work in England, are back and living nearby.
I was admitted and licensed as a Reader ten years ago to a small congregation with no priest of its own so I am kept busy. Also, I have been a member of the Diocesan Synod (Diocese in Europe) and of the Bishop's Council for many years.
I enjoy singing in choirs, playing in music ensembles, reading and crafting.
